CineStar Movie Company only needs a couple things to make your event perfect. An audience to enjoy the event, and electricity!
Prior to the day of your event, make sure you test the outlets nearest where your event will be held. In the backyard, side of the house, indoors near a window...where ever it may be, we need to make sure they work. We only need one circuit for the screen/projector and sound. If we do a Fun Pack, and run a popcorn machine, we will need that to be on a separate circuit.
If you have GFCI outlets (the ones with a Test / Reset button) make sure they work properly. Just plug a lamp or phone charger into them and make sure they work, and then don't work when you push the Test button. For all other outlets, repeat the same steps minus the pushing of any buttons. :)
We all know the best tip for a successful event is PLANNING. But sometimes, all the planning in the world will still leave something forgotten. Throughout our many shows, we have come up with a list of the most common "forgotten" things.
Sprinklers. We have them, they come on via a timer, and we forget about them...until you hear that all too familiar sound "CHK CHK CHK CHK....pftpftpftpftpftpftpftpft" or your buddy busts out the wonderful dance move at a wedding party. Either way, the last time you want to see or hear them is in the middle of your movie event! The ground gets wet, the audience gets wet, and then there is all the electronics too!
So add the ol sprinkler system to your checklist of things to do the day of your event. We can help with your event, but unfortunately we can't help your dancing buddy!
